The ATII is, primarily, a forum where members can meet to discuss the problems and issues concerning the travel insurance industry. The meetings are frank and open, and despite that fact that we are all competitors we do agree on common issues and share information that is beneficial to us all.
The ATII acts as the voice of the members in discussions with Government bodies, the Financial Conduct Authority, the Association of British Insurers and trade associations such as ABTA.
The ATII ensures that members are kept up to date with legal matters concerning our profession, including potential legislation from Brussels.
Other benefits of membership include:
- Bulletins and updates on industry news
- Representation within industry, public and press issues
- Quarterly lunch meetings to review industry trends and events, network informally and make new contacts.
- Use of the ATII logo and name on promotional material
Meetings are held quarterly, normally at the RAC Club on Pall Mall.
